1. Honey is one of the most common home remedies for asthma. Take a jug full of honey and hold it under your nose. Inhale the air that comes into contact with it, and you can breathe easier and better.

2. Grind the root of bitter gourd plant and take a teaspoon of the paste. Mix it with an equal amount of honey or basil leaves’ juice. It is an excellent medicine to treat asthma, if taken for one month.

3. Have the juice of one lemon in a glass of water and take it with your food. It helps asthma patients.

4. Take five grams of gooseberry mixed with one tablespoon of honey. It is a very good medicine when taken in morning hours.

5. A soup prepared from drumstick leaves, and taken once daily, has been found beneficial in the treatment of asthma. This soup is prepared by adding a handful of leaves to 180ml of water and boiling it for five minutes. After being allowed to cool, a little salt, pepper, and lime juice may be added to this soup.

6. Take a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice. Mix it with a cup of fenugreek decoction and some honey for taste. It is an excellent expectorant and helps you deal with asthma.

7. Another effective home remedy to cure asthma is using garlic. Take about 30 ml of milk and boil ten garlic cloves in it. Have it before going to bed.

8. Boil some Ajwain in water and inhale steam of this water. It will open the bronchial passages.
