1. Ginger, Garlic and Seaweed Salad

Ingredients:

* 100-gram dried seaweed (Wakame or Kelp)
* 1 tablespoon vinegar
* 1/2 teaspoon table salt
* 1 teaspoon sugar
* 1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon sesame oil or olive oil
* 1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger
* 3 cloves of garlic

Instructions:

– Rinse the seaweed in a bowl of cold water, swishing it around to release the salt and get out any dirt. Cover with water and set it aside to soak for 30 minutes. Drain, then squeeze out excess water.

– Cut seaweed into thin noodle-like strips.

– Cut ginger and garlic into very thin pieces.

– Mix the seaweed, vinegar, salt, sugar, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and sesame oil together in a bowl until sugar and salt is dissolved.

– Now it is ready to serve.

2. Celery, Carrot and Seaweed Salad

Ingredients:

* 100-gram dried seaweed (Wakame or Kelp)
* 2 stalks of celery
* 1 carrot
* 1 tablespoon vinegar
* 1/2 teaspoon table salt
* 1-1/2 teaspoons soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon olive oil
* 1/2 teaspoon chili pepper
* 3 cloves of garlic

Instructions:

– Rinse the seaweed in a bowl of cold water, swishing it around to release the salt and get out any dirt. Cover with water and set it aside to soak for 30 minutes. Drain, then squeeze out excess water.

– Cut seaweed into thin noodle-like strips.

– Cut ginger and garlic into very thin pieces.

– Cut celery and carrot into thin noodle-like strips, and boil them for 1 minute. Drain and squeeze out excess water.

– Mix the seaweed, celery, carrot, vinegar, salt, sugar, ginger, garlic, soy sauce and oil together in a bowl until sugar and salt is dissolved.

– Now the colorful seaweed salad is ready to serve.

3. Cucumber and Seaweed Salad

Ingredients:

* 50-gram dried seaweed (Wakame or Kelp)
* 1 cucumber
* 1 teaspoon vinegar
* 2 teaspoon sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon table salt

Instructions:

– Rinse the seaweed in a bowl of cold water, swishing it around to release the salt and get out any dirt. Cover with water and set it aside to soak for 30 minutes. Drain, then squeeze out excess water.

– Cut seaweed into 1-inch-wide and 2-inch-long pieces.

– Slice cucumber into thin rounds.

– Mix seaweed, cucumber, vinegar, salt and sugar in a bowl until sugar and salt is dissolved.

– The seaweed salad is ready to serve.

4. Pork Ribs Seaweed Soup

Ingredients:

* 100-gram dried seaweed (Wakame or Kelp)
* 500-gram pork ribs
* 1 teaspoon table salt
* 5 slices of ginger
* 1/2 gallon of water

Instructions:

– Rinse the seaweed in a bowl of cold water, swishing it around to release the salt and get out any dirt. Cover with water and set it aside to soak for 30 minutes. Drain.

– Cut seaweed into 1-inch-wide and 2-inch-long strips.

– Cut pork ribs into 2-inch long, 1 bone per piece.

– Put pork ribs, seaweed, ginger and water into a big pot. Bring them to boil, then add the salt, turn the heat to low, and keep low heat cooking about one hour.

– Now the seaweed soup is ready to serve.
