Dandelion is a strong natural antibiotic and anti-inflammatory herb, which can be used for a wide variety of infections and diseases caused by viruses, bacteria, fungal organisms and tumours. Licorice also has anti-inflammatory and cooling properties, especially, it works on upper respiratory tract. Here is how to prepare the decoction:

1. Dandelion (dried 15 grams, or fresh 30 to 60 grams), raw licorice 3-6 grams.

2. Boil the herbs in 4 cups of water for 10 minutes, then collect the water extract into a container.

3. Add 4 cups water to the strained herbs, boil it for 20 minutes, then collect the second water extract into the container. Mix the first extract with the second extract.

4. Drink it 1-2 cups, two times a day.
