Astragalus (Huang Qi) Treats Cold and Flu
Astragalus (Huang Qi, or Yellow Vetch) is one of primary medical herbs in traditional Chinese medicine. It is used by practitioners of Traditional Chinese Medicine to strengthen or tone the body’s overall vitality. The primary use of Astragalus (Huang Qi) is to strengthen the body against disease by stimulating parts of the body’s immune system.

Astragalus is marketed and sold as a health supplement in North America. You may find astragalus supplements in a health food store. And you can easily find raw astragalus in a Chinese herbal store.
