Children’s Whooping Cough (Pertussis) can be treated by using home remedies – onion, honey, garlic and almond.

Whooping Cough (Pertussis) is a common disease in babies and children. It is a highly contagious bacterial disease caused by Bordetella pertussis. The coughing stage lasts for several weeks (6-15 weeks). So this disease is also called “the 100 days’ cough” in some countries.

You should call the doctor if you suspect that your child has whooping cough. There are some home remedies that may help relieve the symptoms of whooping cough.

Home Remedies For Whooping Cough:

1. Onion juice and honey. Chop 5 onions and extract the juice. Mix the equal amount of onion juice and honey, leave it for 5 hours, then consume 2 tsp of mixed juice, twice a day.

2. Onion, lemon and honey. Mix one crushed onion, one lemon, a tsp of honey and a cup of water. Take this twice a day.

3. Grape juice and honey. Have a cup of grape juice, mixed with a tsp of honey, drink twice a day.

4. Garlic juice. Extract garlic juice and have a tsp of this, 2 times a day.

5. Almonds. Eat 5 almonds, two times a day, in the morning and evening.

6. Onion juice and almond oil. Chop a onion and extract its juice. Mix 5-6 drops of almond oil with the onion juice. Have this mixture three times daily.
