Acne can be treated with tea tree oil and aloe vera.
Tea tree oil has excellent antibacterial and calming properties. It is effective in killing bacteria, and is often used as wound cleaner. Today many people use tea tree oil to treat acne.
Aloe vera is effective for skin care due to its soothing, moisturizing, and healing properties. Aloe vera has antibacterial and antifungal activities, which help in the treatment of minor skin infections.
Here is how to make and use this tea tree oil gel:
- Tea tree oil 2 drops
- Aloe vera gel 1 oz.
- Mix them well
- Apply it onto the affected area
Please note, do not use pure tea tree oil to your skin because your skin may be sensitive to tea tree oil. You should start out with a very mild dose by diluting pure tea tree oil in aloe vera gel.
