Stay Away from Pseudo Health Gurus

These days, there are too many pseudo health professionals who copy and paste an universal advice to everyone: “eat less fatty and sweet foods, more vegetables and fruits”.

There is no such universal diet that can be beneficial to anyone or everyone. Let’s say, in a developed country, if 70% of people are overweight, then you may say that the above advice is 70% correct by the probability. But in a developing country, if 70% of people are under weight, then the above advice is 70% wrong due to the probability. Even in a developed country, if you are in the group of the 30% population who are under weight, then the above advice is still wrong to you.pseudo-health-gurus

People often see funny things like that, years ago, some scientists and health professionals were talking about some foods are very good for people, making people to believe that the more they eat, the better for their health. Then next few years, other scientists and health professionals come out and tell the public a totally different advice: eat less these foods, which are not good for your health! A scientist tells people, “fat is not good for your health, you should eat less fatty food”, then another scientist tells people: “No, fat is actually good for your health”. The public do not know who is right and which advice they should follow.

Select a Diet According to Body Type, Health Condition and Season

People should select a diet according to their body types and health conditions. If you are overweight, eating less fatty foods, more vegetables and fruits can help you losing weight, but if you are under weight, you should eat more oily, fatty and heavy foods to gain weight. Over eating vegetables and fruits will cause you weight loss if you are under weight.

People also should select a diet according to the season. For example, it is easy to gain weight in winter. Most animals gain weight in winter, and humans too. If you are overweight, it is always an uphill battle to lose weight in winter. It is recommended that, in winter, you should eat less oily, greasy, fried, fatty and sweat foods, do more exercise. If you are under weight, then it is a good time to gain weight in winter. You can eat more oily, greasy, fried, fatty and sweet foods.

Be smarter, stay away from pseudo health gurus, some of them even do not know, do not believe or do not do what they are talking about. People are different, their body types and health conditions are different, there is never an universal healthy diet that can be used for anyone or everyone.
