There are many herbs that can be used to repel bed bugs, such as lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary, mint, and pyrethrum

When you found bed bugs in your home, you should clean your home using the following methods:

1. Wash and dry all your bed linens and clothes at high temperatures. Bed bugs cannot survive in extreme heat (higher than 120 °F).

2. In the summer, You may hang your linens and clothes in the sun, and move big items (mattress and sofa) and place them in direct sunlight.

3. Have your home and furniture vacuumed every day.

Then apply the herbal remedies to repel bed bugs:

– Spread some lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary, or mint leaves (fresh leaves or dried leaf powder) in the areas of mattress, furniture, bedrooms and wall cracks.

– Add some essential oils, such as lavender, eucalyptus, thyme, rosemary or mint in water, and put them in a spray bottle (plant mister), shake well, and spray around mattress, furniture, bedrooms and wall cracks.

– Mix some pyrethrum powder with water (30g powder with 10 litres of warm water), and spray in your home. You may add some soap to make it more effective.
