Ingredients:

– Eggplant 500g
– Cooking oil (olive oil, butter, ghee or other cooking oil) 1-2 tablespoons

– Ginger, garlic, chili pepper (optional, cut into very small pieces, according to your taste)

Preparation:

– Cut eggplants into 1-inch pieces, do not remove the skin
– Put the eggplants into a big bowl, add the cooking oil, ginger, salt, chili pepper, garlic on the top of eggplants
– Steam the eggplant over high heat for 5 minutes or until softened
– Remove from the stove
– Add the sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, mix well
– Serve
