How to Use Chicory for Gallstones, Gallbladder Disease, Jaundice and Kidney Stones

Chicory can be used to help treat gallstones, gallbladder disease, jaundice and kidney stones.

 

Chicory is an edible plant. Its young leaves, usually eaten raw as salad leaves.

Roasted chicory root is also used as a coffee substitute. It is often added to coffee to reduce the bitter taste of caffeine, add the special flavor and counteract the effect of caffeine.

As a herbal medicine, chicory has cleansing and cooling properties. It is a great remedy for treating gallbladder disease, gallstones, jaundice and liver disorders. Chicory also helps cleanse the urinary tract, and is used as a mild laxative to aid digestion and relieve constipation.

How to use chicory

1. Eat it as salad.

2. Add it to the coffee.

3. Drink chicory roo tea.

How to make chicory root tea

- Dried chicory root powder 2 teaspoons
- Water 1 cup
- boil and simmer the powder for 10 minutes
- Drink it, 2-3 times a day
