1. Fennel Seeds

Consume 1/2 teaspoon of fennel seeds after meal and chew slowly – it may help relieve acid reflux.

2. Fenugreek Seeds

It is said that fenugreek seed is an effective remedy against heartburn and acid reflux.

Consume 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds before meal – it may help relieve heartburn and acid reflux.

3. Anise and Lavender

Aniseed and lavender can reduce the amount of acid in the stomach, thus help relieve acid reflux and heartburn.

Use aniseed 3g and lavender 3g. Boil them for 1 minute, turn off the heat and leave for 5 minutes, then strain, and add a teaspoon of honey. Drink it twice a day.

4. Slippery Elm Bark

Some people believe that slippery elm bark is a natural cure for acid reflux and heartburn.

Use 1 teaspoon powder of slippery elm bark and boiling water to make a tea. Then add 1 teaspoon of honey. Drink it twice a day.

5. Licorice

Licorice extract has been used by some people to treat acid reflux and heartburn.

Use 1 teaspoon of licorice powder and boiling water to make a tea. Drink it twice a day.

6. Aloe Vera

Many people found that aloe vera provides instant relief and soothing effects to acid reflux.

You can purchase aloe vera in liquid form or gel capsule form in a health supplement store. It is not recommended to drink fresh raw aloe juice because it’s difficult to remove all of the sap, and this can have negative side effects.
