Natural Home Remedies for Warts – Duct Tape & Banana Peel

There are many natural home remedies that can treat warts, such as duct tape, banana peel, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera and tea tree oil.

A wart is a small rough growth on a human’s skin, it often appears on the hands and feet. To treat warts, you may want to try natural home remedies.

1. Duct Tape

This is a therapy using duct tape to cover a wart for several days or weeks:

– Place a piece of duct tape on a wart
– Leave it on for a week
– If the tape falls off, replace a new one as soon as possible
– After a week, remove the tape, leave off for 12 hours, then apply a new onewarts-remedies
– repeat the treatment until the wart is gone

2. Banana Peel

Banana peel is said to be effective to treat a wart:

– Rub a piece of a banana peel on a wart
– Place a piece of banana peel on the wart
– Cover with a piece of cloth
– Use a tape to hold it in place
– Change banana peel every night until the wart is gone
– It may need several weeks to treat a wart

3. Apple Cider Vinegar

Here is how to use apple cider vinegar to remove a wart:

– Soak a small cotton ball in apple cider vinegar
– Place it on a wart
– Hold it in place with a tape
– Change the cotton ball every night until the wart is gone
– It may need a few weeks to treat a wart

4. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera has antibacterial and antifungal properties. That may explain why the plant can be used to treat minor skin infections, such as warts.

– Apply some fresh aloe vera juice (gel) to a wart
– Cover it with a small cotton ball
– Hold it in place with a tape
– Change the cotton ball daily until the wart is gone
– The wart should fall off in a few days or weeks

5. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is an essential oil that is a powerful antiseptic and is said to be effective in treating a wart.

– Apply a few drops of the essential oil to a wart
– Do it daily until it disappears
– You may also use a cotton ball soaked the oil and hold it on the wart with a tape
