If you have constipation, orange remedies can help.

Constipation, or chronic constipation, is a common disturbance of the digestive tract. It can be painful and uncomfortable. The most common symptoms of constipation are infrequency, irregularity or difficulty in elimination of the hard feces matter. When having this problem, the bowels do not move regularly.

The most important causes of chronic constipation are a faulty diet and style of living. Constipation can be attributed to a faulty diet and style of living: wrong combination of foods, poor eating habits, lack of exercise, not eating enough fiber or drinking enough fluids. Irregular habits of eating and drinking may all contribute to poor bowel function.

Constipation is the chief cause of many diseases as it produces toxins which find their way into the bloodstream and are carried to all parts of the body. Scientists believe that, appendicitis, rheumatism, arthritis, high blood pressure, cataract, and cancer are a few of the diseases in which chronic constipation is an important predisposing factor.

If you have constipation, orange remedies can help. Patients suffering from chronic constipation should eat this fruit or it’s juice. If you often have constipation, you should take this fruit daily to achieve the desired results. An orange taken after dinner or with breakfast will have the desired effect. So taking one or two oranges in the evening and in the morning is an excellent way of stimulating the bowels. The general stimulating influence of orange juice excites peristaltic activity and helps prevent the accumulation of food residue in the colon.

Oranges are beneficial in the treatment of constipation. You can drink orange juice, or orange juice with honey. Both orange and honey are good for treatment of constipation. Drink a glass filled with half each of orange juice and honey will have your plumbing running smoothly in no time.
