Baking Soda for Heartburn, Acid Indigestion and Stomach Ulcers – Home Remedies

 

Baking soda can be used to relieve heartburn, sour stomach, or acid indigestion.

Baking soda is one of antacids, having effects to relieve heartburn, sour stomach, or acid indigestion by neutralizing excess stomach acid, and thus can be used to relieve stomach ulcers caused by excess stomach acid.

Here is how to use this remedy:

- Baking soda 1 teaspoon
- Water 1 glass
- Mix them and drink it
- 2-3 times a day.

Please note:

- This remedy should not be given to a young child (under 6 years of age) unless prescribed a doctor.

- The dose for a child must be determined by a doctor.

- This remedy should be only used for temporary relief. You should not take it for more than 2 weeks. If the problem persists, you should check with your doctor.
