Dysentery - Dysentery (flux or the bloody flux) is a disease involving the inflammation of the intestine, particularly the colon. Dysentery causes the diarrhea, which is characterized by mucus and/or blood contained in the feces. And the patient may also have the symptoms of fever and abdominal pain. The person suffering from severe dysentery needs immediate medical help. In traditional medical systems, there are some herbal remedies for treatment of dysentery. Some classical herbal formulas have been proven to be effective in treating chronic dysentery.
