Apple cider vinegar (ACV) and Baking soda can be used as home remedies to help relieve gout.

Gout is a disease characterized by attacks of acute inflammatory arthritis with red, tender, hot and/or swollen joints. This disease is caused by a build up of uric acid – monosodium urate or uric acid crystals are deposited on the articular cartilage of joints.

How to use baking soda and apple cider vinegar for gout treatment? The following are two recipes:

Apple cider vinegar and water

– Apple cider vinegar 1 table spoon
– Honey 1 table spoon (optional)
– Water 1 cup
– Mix them well
– Drink it twice a day

Baking soda and water

– Baking soda 1/2 teaspoon
– Water 1/2 cup
– Mix them and stir until dissolved
– Drink it twice a day

Note: you may try both to see if one works better than another. If no improvement is seen in 7 days, you should stop using it.
